I gave Bill Balena a call one morning to ask a few questions about my previous bankruptcy case, a case in which he was not even my lawyer. To my surprise he returned my phone call within an hour (not very common with other lawyers I have dealt with in the past). Right away Bill asked me how he could help. I spoke to him on the phone for almost an hour asking question after question and he gave me very informative answers to each and every question I asked. Not one time did he try to rush me off the phone, (I wasn’t even paying him for his time) or even slightly seem like he didn’t want to be helping me with my so called “problem”. He knew what he was talking about, knew his facts, and was very professional. Just from our conversation over the phone I can tell that Bill Balena is great at what he does! I felt completely comfortable telling him my situation and asking any question that I had. After I couldn’t think of anything else to pick his brain about he even told me (now remember I have not retained him as my lawyer nor am I paying him for his time) that I could call him with any other question that I had and he would help me out in any way he could. Now THAT is a great lawyer!!! If and when there ever comes a time that I am in need of a lawyer Bill Balena is the first on my list. I would recommend his services to anyone that I know.

Thank goodness for that “gut instinct”. I was in the process of a divorce and the need for a good bankruptcy attorney. I went to someone who was recommended in the downtown area. After speaking with him, it didn’t feel right for some reason. I was on a mission to find the perfect match for me and my situation. I did some research on my own.
